Hello, my name is Amy Spence. I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst here at the Brandywine Center for Autism.
I graduated from Wilmington University with an Undergraduate Degree in Behavioral Sciences. Following graduation, I worked as a Behavioral Specialist and Behavioral Consultant in New Jersey and was able to see the difference that ABA could make in the lives of individuals with Autism and other disabilities. I had worked in the field of disabilities in many aspects but I truly found my passion when I was introduced to ABA. I returned to Delaware and began working with individuals who struggled with severe behavioral challenges and I found the work exciting and rewarding. I then obtained my Masters of Science in Psychology and my Board Certification in Behavior Analysis.
I am extremely excited to be a new addition to the BCA team and I am looking forward to being a part of each child’s journey through learning, play, and achievement.
