Job Description
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will be responsible for developing and implementing behavior interventions and related data collection procedures for children to help increase their academic, social and communication skills while also decreasing challenging behaviors.
The BCBA will supervise and train Lead Therapists and direct instructors on all principles of Applied Behavior Analysis including but not limited to Verbal Behavior, Discrete Trial Programming, Natural Environment Therapy and Social Skills Training.
Other responsibilities include: provide school, center and home-based consultative services; provide training to parents; conduct assessments and provide recommendations of services; assist in the development IEPs, IFSPs, behavior plans; graph data and write progress notes; and contribute to group meetings and trainings.
Position Requirements
Must have Masters degree and be actively certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing. We are looking for candidates who are energetic, animated, and outgoing, with a passion for working with and helping children. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to complete clinical and administrative tasks. Light physical work may be required.
Current certifications in CPR and First Aid as well as a current Child Abuse Clearance and FBI fingerprint/background check must be obtained before hire.
